2. Labeling

Other companies use barcode systems to track, or RFID systems to track. LabProtector uses both. LabProtector uses labeled RFID (marked RFID) where our stickers are marked & labeled from the beginning to avoid errors, whereas usually, RFID labels are blank and if mislabeled, the mistake will follow throughout the process.

4. Facial Recognition System

LabProtecor has multiple options for identifying patients:

5. More Than Witnessing

As a staff member, you must check in & check out each gamet after you’ve identified yourself. If a gamet is checked in & not out, an alert will be issued.

6. LabProtector Real Time

We add a virtual timer on every specimen. If the specimen isn’t where it should be at any given time, you will get alerted.

7. Safe Lock

If there is a patient in the OR and a lab technician in the lab, the stations in use will be locked until all tubes are checked out from that patient. The system will not allow the OR to work with another patient until this is done. Avoiding any errors or mix-ups.

8. Dashboard

All stations are visible with each patient & tech.
If a station is in progress, the color will be fuchsia.
If a station is open, the color will be white.

9. Queue Flow

All patients to arrive that day will be visible. As well as each station that they will need for their visit.

The Lab Director will have a clear picture of what the process of the day is by patient.

10. Embryo Scope +

If samples are taken from an incubator, Lab Protector can take bar codes and relate them to the Lab Protector software. The system will recognize them and adopt them to our system. This can be accomplished with any bar code from any system.

11. Freezing Eggs

In order to freeze eggs, they must be stored at -197 degrees. For this reason, they will require new stickers, and this needs to be done with another system. LabProtector can create the stickers through our system and connect it to BRADY printers (or any other company that prints these unique stickers)

12. Cryo Inventory Management

There are 2 simple options to imput straws into the cryo.

You add all available locations and the system will offer you the best placement for the new straw.
You can just select where you’d like to place the straw, and when you search the patient’s name & ID number, the system will advise you where it is.

If the patient already has frozen straws, the system will advise you. Each location can hold 8 straws.

13. PGT

Lab Protector supports the PGT process, even when you work with an external lab, even if the external lab is not working with the Lab Protector system.
After the embryos have been extracted, they need to be tested. Each embryo is cut & a small piece is sent to an external lab for testing. The lab will check them and let you know which embryos are good to use.

14. LabProtector Management

Upon setup, you will input the lowest level of inventory for each item and the system will automatically reorder the items that have fallen below their minimum level of inventory.
Items can also be entered with batch numbers, to follow up with any quality issues.

15. Integration

Lab Protector can be integrated with any EMR system.

16. AI Statistic Reports

Lab Protector has AI statistics available within our system. Due to all information collected is confidential, every report is processed within our server using our AI.

Lab Protector’s system is available offline (free standing) or in a cloud. Both options are fully operational.

18. Installation

Installation takes 72 hours. There is no need for any changes to be made to the lab’s equipment.
